Pictured is an example of the piece that will be custom made for you.  Great art takes time and your piece will require 2-4 weeks before shipping.   This real parakeet egg is hand crafted in the traditional pysanky method using wax and dye.  The one of a kind artwork is preserved inside and out with resin for durable everyday wear.  The necklace is created exclusively by Katherine Alexander and includes an 18” stainless steel chain with lobster claw.  The egg is secured into the pendant and is not removable.  Your exact egg will vary slightly in precise size and shape.

Care Instructions

This handmade pysanka jewelry can last decades with simple proper care. Always store out of direct sunlight when not being worn to prevent fading. Avoid water and dropping. Like all metals, the chain will require occasional cloth polishing.
