This work by artist Katherine Alexander is a one of a kind Pysanky chicken egg. This Pysanka was created in the traditional folk method with wax and dye. It has been drained and finished with a UV protective varnish but should be displayed out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. A small black lucite stand is included. Pysanky is breakable and should have a location chosen with care to prevent falls.

This delicate item is shipped in a jar within a box. I suggest you open the package while sitting on a carpeted floor as you learn how to handle such a lightwieght and fragile item.

This handmade pysanka can last decades with simple proper care. Always store and display out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. Avoid water and dropping.
